WTCO(World Top Chefs Organization) was established to reflect the happiness energy and richness in human lives through the joint development and cooperation of world chefs—through both traditional cuisine and food culture. The organization aims to foster a spirit of service, creativity, professionalism, peace, and charity. It aims to reduce prejudice and promote understanding amongst people of different backgrounds while normalizing international cuisine. Additionally, WTCO was established to create and maintain a system for protecting the rights and interests of chefs.

Moonkyo-Kim, CEO of CAM Broadcasting in South Korea, was appointed as Secretary-General.
